Support services for students
As a special education institution, Luovi offers all-inclusive support services. Students receive support for their professional growth and well-being throughout their own learning pathways. This means being there right from the application stage, continuing through guidance counselling during studies to support for subsequent placement in further studies or on the labour market.
Luovis different units have social workers, student advisers, speech therapists, psychologists, occupational therapists, careers advisers, leisure instructors, etc.
Luovi co-operates with each students personal networks, such as care and rehabilitation services. Network co-operation also involves the students parents and other stakeholders.
Guidance counselling
All studies include personal guidance counselling. Students receive guidance and support at all stages of their studies and their progress is monitored. It is also possible to receive guidance and personal support for issues relating to on-the-job learning and employment.
