Studying at Luovi
Luovi Vocational College offers diverse education and training with us,
you can learn by doing.
As a special education institution, we take each students individual abilities and objectives into account. When selecting students to take part in our upper secondary vocational programmes, we give priority to applicants who require special counselling, guidance and support with their studies and subsequent employment for health-related or other reasons.
At Luovi studies are organised in small groups. In addition to teachers, individualised and practical studies are supported by instructors and Student Services staff.
Individual educational plan
Studies at Luovi are based on each students own abilities and objectives. Each student is provided with an individual educational plan (IEP), which covers an assessment of the students initial situation, teaching, guidance counselling and further plans, as well as an assessment of required support services. The plan will be monitored and its implementation will be assessed and supplemented throughout the period of study.
Costs of study
Luovi provides studies free of charge for students. Students are also provided with textbooks, learning implements and materials required for their studies, as well as appropriate workwear.
